The Acolytes [Aco] are recruiting. The Acolytes is a long standing community spanning multiple divisions we offer our members excellence in all facets of gaming. Whether you are interested in WvW, PvE, RP or just want to hang out you will find a great home in the Acolytes.

We feature:
Active Mumble.
Active Forum.
Active Leadership.
Guild Missions.
Dungeon and Fractal groups.
PVE and RP events.
Massive scripted RP events full of prizes and fun.
Occasional drunken shenanigans.
We are a true PvX guild that focuses on all aspects of the game and most importantly we have a fun atmosphere!

Guild Guidelines:

• Play for fun.
  • We are all here because we love the game. Play for fun and never let this feel like work.
• Play Together.
  • The best way to make friends is to spend time with people. do everything you can to get that 5th person of your 4 man guild group to be a guildie. It will help us gain influence and there's a 98% chance they're better than a PuGie.
• Be Respectful.
  • The world is a diverse place full of different beliefs. Show respect to the everyone you meet and they will show respect to you. This is a rule both in the guild and in public chat/forums.
• No Trolling.
  • No trolling in guild chat or any public forum.

The Acolytes are as close as you can get to zero drama. GW2 is a game that we all want to play together and we focus on having fun and helping each other.

WvW Specific Information
We WvW at least four nights a week at around 5:30 Server time. We do require voice chat although you can just listen.
Acolytes are 100% about the fights. I won’t say we don’t care about points but it is our strong belief that when you seek the best fights you can the points and badges will come. We focus on open field fighting, maneuvering and tactics and not on siege warfare. Not only do we love to fight, we also love to have fun!
The ideal recruit is someone who can leave their ego at the door. They will be adaptable, smart and positively ready to kick teeth in.

PvE Specific Information
All Guild Missions are unlocked we run them Sunday at 12:00 Server Time and we run them quickly and efficiently. So every Sunday with about an hour of following directions you can expect, guild commendations, a couple gold and a whole bunch of rares! Join us for Dungeon Master Tuesday where we can guide you through an entire dungeon run working toward that Dungeon Master kittenle! Speed run compekittenions, dungeon gauntlets and more are just some of the fun PvE related events we do.

RP Specific Information
The Acolytes do massive events nearly every month. These are scripted events with great prizes and lots of fun.We recently did Wintersday in July where we helped Aco Claus solve a mystery, converted the Aco Grinch to our side and faced down Aco Paw in an epic battle below Mount Maelstrom. In August we are doing the Acolympics which is a week long event featuring, costume brawling, custom tonic rushes, A dungeon gauntlet, Trivia, Scavenger hunts and much much more. Join us for fabulous events and random roleplay events you won't be disappointed.
