Event Description:
I will be off this week from the World Boss Hunt. Last week, my daughter's best friend committed suicide after struggling with severe depression and PTSD from some horrendous abuse from an ex-stepfather. She was only 16. My daughter and her other best friend are having a tough time with it. The two of them are having a sleepover today at my place, so I'm going to spoil them rotten, make brownies, and we'll talk about what happened. The girl who's staying with us has been in treatment for cutting and I don't want her to re-start that, so I'm going to give them both tons of love right now.
Next week, Bears will be pinch-hitting for me because I have a doctor appointment on Monday afternoon. It was the only one available until October. >.<
We're back at the normal time!! We'll have food and banners. We are starting off with Tequatl instead of Shatterer! The waypoint for Tequatl the Sunless is [&BNABAAA=].
Have you had your fill of fun and loot? No? Me neither! World Bosses drop lots of loot and are great fun to hunt, so come and join us. Feel free to join for 1 boss or all of them!
Starting Monday July 25th, we'll be experimenting with taking out Shatterer and adding in Tequatl. We've noticed a drop in numbers of people attending Shatterer, which reduces the success chances. In addition, we can now usually get into an organized Tequatl map. We'll give it a try and see how it goes!
To get into the Tequatl map, I'll be arriving at the waypoint about 15 to 20 minutes early. If you want to make it into our map, please come about 5-10 minutes before the 9am start time. If our map is full, just stay in the one you end up in--you will still get credit even if we're not all in the same map.
Come help us kill the World Bosses to save Tyria! Any level is welcome, but you'll earn the best rewards if you're level 80. You must have the waypoints open (see list below).
Due to the limited time between world bosses, we will not be able to run people to unlock waypoints. However, I will be happy to help you unlock them at other times!
We will be doing nearly all of the bosses except Tequatl. We will be chatting in Discord GW2 Community Events channel.
I will have food and banners available during the event, because there's no such thing as too much loot!
