World versus World Season 2 rewards delayed

Due to an issue with the reward chests, Arenanet has decided to delay the reward vendor for the Season 2 WvW tournament to a later date than was planned.  A patch today (3 June), would have given access to rewards from the battle historian, but in the interest of fairness, this update has been postponed.

There is currently an ongoing issue in which some players did not receive their tournament reward tickets/scraps, even after completing the meta achievement.  The cause of the issue has still not been detected, and the delay will be in place until the issue has been resolved.

If you are affected by the issue, do not contact Arenanet support, but post in the official forums.  In that post, provide a character name and your account ID (yourusername.XXXX).  Never provide a password, no matter who or what ask for it.

While the World vs. World team investigates an issue with tournament reward chest distribution, we are temporarily delaying access to the rewards that would have otherwise been available on the Battle Historian on June 3rd. We hope this will help prevent further compounding the issue, and avoiding unnecessary confusion while we work to resolve the problem. Thank you for your patience.
