Hopefully not a dumb question

Hi, been with SoR since day one, but only found this site recently.  (Love the Tyrian Adventure idea, btw.)  Anyway, my question is simple:  If an event is posted here, on SoR site, is it open for all players from the server, or might there be some guild exclusive events listed as well?  

For example, I noticed some wvw events during the week.  I really need some experience to get better at wvw, but venturing out alone usually means fairly quick death.  So are these wvw training events for anyone from this site, or are the leaders of those events simply listing a guild event here?
