Elthuzar here, human Thief of Gaiscioch and off-peak WvW commander for the Gaiscioch Family. You can generally find me online sometime between Midnight and 6am PST weednights. If I'm not around then I am probably out of town for work or just hiding in WvW without the icon on.

I run a weekly off-peak event at around 23:45 on a Saturday Evening that runs for around 2 hours. This event is mainly for fun and to introduce newer players to WvW and gives the late night players a scheduled time to hang out.

This is Havaldan, leader and WvW commander of the Wolves of Oros [OROS]. I am usually online around 6pm to 11pm EST. As a guild leader I also host PVE events for my guild so my time in WvW varies. You'll generally find me in the SoR borderlands when in WvW, but every now and then OROS members and I will head to other borderlands to assist.

Right now I don't run any scheduled WvW event (this will certainly change in the future). In terms of OROS I tend to see if there is a queue.. if there isn't we will jump on and run a pickup event. I also do my best to be available during the GSCH weekend WvW kickoff event.

This is Knight Of Flowers, a WvW General and Commander of Caedas [CDS]. I have worked with Miasmic Spiritsong (Caedas GM) since we were both on Stormbluff Isle. My areas of specialty are suicidal charges on enemy siege positions (often to their demise), trebuchet positioning, and dolyak escort duty.

I enjoy working with my guild members in battle operations, but I also like to coordinate with the server as a whole to unify our strategy across each map. I have worked with TW, EPIC, Fate, FL, GSCH and other guilds in WvW.

We teamed up with Leader Mara and EPIC for a pretty awesome defense of Bay Keep.

I have also worked with Bavragor and Alpaca Owl for some late night fun times. :)

I am also one of the WvW officers for Caedas.

I prefer to use VOIP while in WvW so you'll be able to find me in SoR WvW TS3 99% of the time and Caedas Ventirlo. (Only time I'm not is if Im lagging horribly bad in WvW while at work.) I also like server communication and use map/team chat or whispers to communicate with people.

I am the guild leader of a small guild named Free Of Fate which has been on SoR since launch. I am writing in here as my guild recently saved up enough money for us to get the commander badge. The major focus of my guild is PvE but I and several of my members do frequent WvW.

I don't intend to use the badge unless I am running with a large party from my guild or unless we are lacking in direction. If you see me on and need me to do something, yell out. I almost always run in the borderlands. I do have teamspeak but am generally on my guild's teamspeak.

Bombardium here, I'm the commander from White Raven. We are not a HC guild, so we have official scheduled WvW every Tuesdays and Thursdays (night). Our troops on those days are between 20~30 people, and we do what we can depending on the WvW maps.

You can expect to find me around the borders outside the official scheduled WvW from the guild as well, I have always a WR group with me.

Finally getting around to posting here! My name is Chao and I am a guild leader/commander of Heroes Avidly Ravishing Damsels [HARD]. We are a small group of real-life friends who enjoy the various PvP aspects of this game. Although our guild is very small (~8 people who play casually), but we each pride ourselves in our knowledge of the game and of MMO's in general.

You will most likely find me in EB, and I will only turn my commander tag on if I feel we are lacking in leadership. Otherwise, I am happy to run in small groups with my friends or with other people from our server. Hello everyone, I'm Eurlin of Vengeance[VNG] I'm an officer and one of the main commanders for WvW(mainly because I made the biggest character ;P) We run almost daily from 6PM Est to Midnight. Weekends we're on from Noon to Midnight. If you're ever in need of a stand in commander I'm always happy to lend a hand.

I tend to take up the job that is needed at the time, be itkittenaulting a decoy tower, or just holding down the fort until someone pushes up behind. We do what needs to be done on any map.

Hello from Oceanix. We're a oceanic/sea primetime PvX guild.

My IGN(commander)is Harvest Moon Herald. Generally speaking our numbers for shuffle day and weekends are 20-30 fielded. During the week 10-15. We enjoy a relaxed casual atmosphere while maintaining self discipline in WvW with a performance based mind set.

As a guild we generally are support oriented coming in after hyper aggressive guilds take capture points and upgrading and laying siege, defending it until a float team can wipe the invaders. Or have a small ops team ninja down walls and calling in an enforcer guild to close the deal.

Hey there. I'm Caeduus from Helioz [Hel], an NA guild. Helioz has a bunch of commanders working the NA timeslot. I try to work the pugs during the SEA primetime when Jameze/Purp and the other guys from [Choo] are not pulling all-nighters to keep the PPT up.

Whenever I do lead the pugs, I tend to go look for fights. I think it helps our guys' morale if they're out there having fun with open field fights. I also like working with other commanders when we are trying to keep up the PPT.

Hello SoR. I am LT as in Ellti. I am in charge of WvW activities for [Hope] and spend a few hours every night in WvW. I do not plan to get a commander tag since we are small; we just focus on supporting a commander on the map and I listen in on either RC or zerodrama's TS while I relay the orders to my crew on our TS server. We're a guild of 50+ who have played together for ~7 years from GW1, so we like to cut up and play on TS so that's why we keep all that on our own comms. =) I am trying to get better every day and I really appreciate the learning experiences I've had listening to Fog, Indo, and Spartan. We have 3-5 people that like to hop in WvW every night 6p-10p server time, and on Thursdays we follow GSCH around for Tuatha night and that draws about 10 of our people in. If you need a small scouting group and notice I'm following you around or am on voice comms with you, it's likely I have a little team I can pull off to go check up on something for you! In the meantime, at the risk of eliciting groans, we'll continue sprinkling a little [Hope] around.

UPDATE: I got some commander experience during the 6 months I was a member of Helioz [Hel], and plan to continue running at least once a week, and my [Hope] friends tag along as allies too.

Hello all.  I command on my Guardian, Combat Medic Barbie, and I am the Guild Leader for the faith-based Christian guilds Chariot of Fire [FIRE] guild and for the newly-formed World Versus World For God [wGOD].  [FIRE] is my main guild, but in order to unite the Christian community on the server, I have recently made the [wGOD] guild as a secondary guild for the purpose of coordinated WvW events for all Christians from some of the other Christian guilds on SoR.  Most likely, you will see me flagging [wGOD] if I am in WvW. O, hi !

I am one of the GM's for The Praetorians (PRAE). I will rarely tag up as we are a primarily havoc squad focused guild, but will sometimes tag up on occasion when we coordinate with another map commander, or, if a Map is empty to simply try and capture pugs. I play NA and am willing to tag up if any other guilds want to correspond with PRAE one night. We usually like to run around with one or multiple groups of about 5 to 10 players (all of them generally vetted by our best players), and would be helping you by creating an elevated, and narrowly directed and potent sense of havoc for your enemies. =)

I usually run on my Mesmer Graeyalise, so please pm me in game ,or here, and we can work out some details for an alliance with your guild or discuss on TS. We can be your blob busting support, and also work opposite points on the map to hopefully slow the enemy down. It would be great learning for us as a Havoc Squad to correspond with your larger guild on the maps.

I am a new commander and usually play between 7pm-2am EST several days a week usually with my brother. Bear with me as I learn the art and science of commanding in the game. I enjoy playing many aspects of the game, too. But I will likely command once or twice a week as I consider myself to be a relatively casual player. Nevertheless, when I'm online and not busy, and our world needs a commander tagged up in regular WvW, let me know through a whisper and I will lead if I can. I've learned from about 10 months of WvW experience, that it is of utmost importance for a commander to be tagged up in WvW, and most especially while our server community needs help the most.

I command with my Engineer, Vozler, and greatly enjoy water combat and defense. In time, I want to instigate some spectacular water battles at Bay and Lowlands' Keeps. I enjoy learning and teaching others new things; let's try to learn new tactics we can use. I think of the commander tag as a tool that's mainly used for organizing and directing resources. So I mainly direct our resources to converge on certain locations while directing and supporting the group from the rear. I rarely lead the melee train, but will do so if needed. I tend to follow it and tell it where to go. I place a heavy reliance upon our entire team's members for dealing damage, control, and support. In short: I provide most of the tools and guidance, and rely on everyone for help and advice.

Lastly, I sometimes help lead World Boss Events, can be found in Edge of the Mists (I prefer it over regular WvW), Heart of the Mists, talking, or just exploring and otherwise enjoying the vast world of Tyria and community.

If we work together, we will be stronger!

I am Taelath, a representative from the guild "Serenity's Edge" [TRE], sent on the behalf of my guild leader Izearoz.

Our guild originated from GW1 and we covered every aspects of the game; PvE, PvP, GvG, Resource Raids, Alliance battles as well as HvH & HoH battles. TRE'S claim to fame came when we held the Halls of Heroes and was featured as Guild of the Week by ANet.

Introductions aside, we are currently a PvX guild, with a focus in PvE (we run occasional WvW raids with havoc teams).
The bulk of our players are active from 2 am to 8 am server time. Our guild comprises of SEA and NA players, with the bulk hailing from Singapore. Although, we aren't a WvW orientated guild, to show our gratitude, we run weekly karka and temple events on Sunday, from 4 am server time, onwards.  

We are currently in the process of recruitment and restructuring with the intention of fighting for SOR when the 2nd WvW season starts.

I am 1/6th of the Council of [EVIL].  I am the more diplomatic one in the guild often striking new guild friendships between my guild and others.  We have been trying to encourage WvW for months now with some luck.  One of my fellow council members and one of our officers do run a tags on occasion when there is no one on a map, we usually work in a small guild group if for no other reason then to just pull forces out of other maps.  As we continue to grow hopefully we will become much more main stream.  I am here to relay information back to our members and to be out there in public as a go to for now on [EVIL]s activities.  I am planning on attending meetings in the future, again for much the same reasons or provide a voice for our members.   I do have a number of people who might be interested in commanding if they where to get some training and skills developed.

Hey everyone. Caytlynne here from Gaiscioch. I have been commanding for about a year now in WvW. You can find me online M, W, and F morning at 9AM. We run small havoc groups for beginners, bring any character you want you run, it doesnt matter what gear you have or if you have never even tried WvW. We will try to keep you alive and will try to answer any questions you might have. If I don't have the answer there are plenty of people we can consult. Come out for a friendly group. We use raid call on channel 1101, and usually can be found in the Red Borderland channel. (only because i can type Red faster than blue or green, smile) Hope to see you in the battlegrounds soon.

I think this thread needs to be scrubbed, as many Commanders have moved on, quit the game, left the server, etc.  I for one am still kicking here!

So, I still see people posting here, so I figure I might as well. At this point, with the shrinking of our WvW groups, I believe that most of you may have seen my tag on the map at some point now or have heard me trying to help out with map chat. My name is Aingeal (most commonly referred to as Angel), and I'm a commander for the Gaiscioch family. I also have a small, private guild (ANGL) that I use for a +5 buff that is almost always running to help out whenever possible. Usually, you may see the Angel wings with a sword through the middle posted up at north camp on SoR BL. If you ever see the tag and are having a problem with getting +5, don't hesitate to send a tell off to Aingeal an Lann in game. I typically run a SCHEDULED event from 6-9PM server on Mondays and will be doing reset from 5-8 or 9PM server on Fridays. Throughout the weekend and various times through the rest of the week, you may also run into my tag as I love to be out in WvW and helping or doing whatever is needed whenever possible. Usually during those times though, I tend not to have too many more than 10-15 with me and sometimes even less, but that doesn't stop us from rushing 5 golems at a keep!

I also just want to spend some time here thanking everyone who has followed and grouped up with me these past few weeks. We've gotten a lot accomplished and been a big thorn in the side of whomever we've been matched up against. None of us leaders would be able to do anything, or at least as effectively, without the help of those who follow, and I can't thank everyone left here enough for your dedication. That does sum up everything I have to post here though, so in closing, I hope to see everyone out there in the following weeks, and long live the Sanctum of Rall.
