Ok, so many of you have noticed that the teamspeak has been having packetloss over the last few days. My hosting provider has changed their terms of service to allow for up to 20% packloss for up to 30 minutes at a time. They have also added to their terms of service that any and all voice communication services (teamspeak, mumble, and vent among them) are no longer allowed on their servers. I can move us to a new host that welcomes teamspeak and voice communications, but it is going to cost more money per month (which brings it above the range I am willing to personally fund). (It will add $10/month to the current bill)
We have until the end of the month before I am shut down for running teamspeak, but I'm sure that they don't care about reliability in the mean time. If someone else currently has a server that meets the following criteria (based on our actual use over the last month), I will pass off the current liscense and sor ts DB for someone else to run.
You server needs:
- Basically no processor (uses less than 1% of a single 2.8Ghz Xeon core)
- ~200MB of ram
- 300-400GB of bandwidth per month
- at least 15Mbps of spike bandwidth.
Or, if the community is willing to contribute the $10/month extra, I am willing to continue hosting and maintaining the teamspeak at a new location
